Election Eve

Fall is here- something I haven't been used to for a while. The colors are shocking. We've had great weather for the last month, so reds and oranges are starting to appear.


Optimism is also in the air here. Obama just came to the CSU oval. An estimated 45, 00 people showed up for it, including me and my parents. We stood in line out by Shields for almost two hours, and didn't make it to the oval until Obama was almost done speaking, but it was worth it.

Late Summer in Fort Collins

Myles came through on his way back to Portland. We met up and went for a beer at the Crown and Anchor. Neither of us were surprised that the Grateful Dead was playing on the stereo system

Brigid and Bryce came into town to go hiking and to sightsee. They took me out to dinner at Suehiro's. I showed them the apartment at the Antlers first.
